Looking Back at Our First International Workshop

The FINMAN+ project recently hosted its first international workshop, bringing together experts, educators, and partners from across Europe to share insights and strategies for improving financial literacy. The event, which took place virtually, marked a significant milestone in our journey to enhance the financial skills of young adults. It provided a unique opportunity for collaboration and exchange of best practices between diverse organizations committed to empowering individuals with essential financial knowledge.

During the workshop, participants had the chance to engage in thought-provoking discussions, explore innovative teaching methodologies, and gain hands-on experience with the tools and resources developed within the FINMAN+ project. The session focused on creating engaging, scenario-based financial literacy training that can be tailored to meet the specific needs of young adults. Attendees also learned about the development of a digital assessment tool designed to track financial literacy progress and its implementation in various educational settings.

As we reflect on the success of this first international workshop, we are excited about the potential impact it will have on both educators and learners. The knowledge shared and the connections made during this event will be instrumental in shaping the next stages of the project. We are grateful to our partners and participants for their contributions and look forward to continuing our work together to empower young adults across Europe with the skills they need to make informed financial decisions.
